What the flat rate covers
- A free standing tub up to about 8 by 8 feet, drained, with the power off at the breaker
- Cutting the shell down where it sits and carrying the pieces out

Call it what you like. This price is the same for spa, jacuzzi, whirlpool tub, portable spa, hot tub shell.
Stairs or an upper floor
That is a different job, so it does not get a flat number. Send a photo instead and we price the carry with the item.

What do I need to do before you come?
Two things. Drain it, and switch the power off at the breaker. If it is hard wired rather than plugged in, have an electrician disconnect it before we come; we do not do electrical work. If either one is not done when the crew arrives we cannot start, so tell us beforehand and we move the window rather than charge you for the trip.
Which tubs are not this price?
Anything longer than about 8 feet is a swim spa and has its own flat rate, one page over. A tub built into a deck, a tub on a balcony or a roof deck, and anything that needs a crane or a fence panel taken out are all quoted on site rather than off a photo, because a picture cannot show what the access takes.
Do you cut a tub out of a deck?
No. Taking a deck apart is building work and we are not registered for that trade. A tub that sits free on a pad, on gravel or on pavers is the one this price covers, and that one we cut down where it stands.
A second item on the same trip is $59. More than 4 is a load: send a photo.
