Flat rate
Sofa removal in Tacoma
One couch, one number, no walkthrough and no haggling. We lift it, load it and take it to the transfer station.
What it costs
$139
At the curb, or carried out from the ground floor. Anything else going on the same trip is $59, up to 4 things in all.
Flat rates cover Pierce County. For pickups in King County, contact us for a price: (253) 369-1857 or info@vanquishjunk.com.
What the flat rate covers
- A sofa, couch, loveseat or futon, in one piece
- The cushions and pillows that came with it
- The lift and the load, so nobody else has to take an end
- The tipping fee at the gate
Call it what you like. This price is the same for couch, loveseat, futon, settee.
Stairs or an upper floor
That is a different job, so it does not get a flat number. Send a photo instead and we price the carry with the item.

Is a sectional or a sleeper sofa this price?
No. A sectional or a sleeper sofa is heavier and longer than a couch, so it has its own flat rate, one page over.
What if it will not fit through the door?
We take doors off hinges and we take legs off sofas. If it truly will not come out in one piece, we tell you before we start rather than after.
Can you take it from an apartment on the second floor?
Not at the flat rate. Stairs are a different job, so send a photo and we price that one properly.
A second item on the same trip is $59. More than 4 is a load: send a photo.
