Flat rate
Swim spa removal in Tacoma
Anything over about 8 feet is a bigger job than a hot tub and it gets its own number rather than a surprise on the day. Drained, power off at the breaker, and we cut it down where it sits.
What it costs
$1,195
At the curb, or carried out from the ground floor. Anything else going on the same trip is $59, up to 4 things in all.

What the flat rate covers
- A free standing shell over about 8 feet, drained, with the power off at the breaker
- Cutting the shell down where it sits and carrying the pieces out
- A path out to the truck that does not run through the house
- The tipping fee at the gate, which on this one is the biggest of any item we take
Call it what you like. This price is the same for swim spa, exercise spa, oversized hot tub, large spa shell.
Stairs or an upper floor
That is a different job, so it does not get a flat number. Send a photo instead and we price the carry with the item.

How do I know which price is mine?
Measure the longest side. About 8 feet or under is the hot tub rate; longer than that is this one. If you are on the line, send a photo with something in it for scale and we will tell you which before you book.
What do I need to do before you come?
The same two things as a hot tub. Drain it, and switch the power off at the breaker. If it is hard wired, have an electrician disconnect it first; we do not do electrical work. A shell this size holds a lot of water and a full one is not going anywhere, so if draining is the part you are stuck on, say so and we will move the window rather than turn up to a job nobody can start.
Is a shell on a balcony or a roof deck this price?
No. A balcony, a roof deck, or anything that needs a crane or a fence panel taken out is quoted on site rather than off a photo. A picture cannot show what the access actually takes, so we come and look before anyone agrees a number.
A second item on the same trip is $59. More than 4 is a load: send a photo.
